In 2012, when he first came to pursue his studies in Phnom Penh, he just had $5 in his pocket and a few pairs of old clothes. At that time, he didn’t even have an old bicycle or an old phone, and he didn’t really know where he should go to study. (His full biography is in his book "The Mission")

Before he could find a place to study, he met a lot of obstacles. The job that he always did at that time was selling some materials along the roads and streets, such as wallets, belts, mirrors, combs, scissors, and so on. He walked along the streets, selling these products to customers, in order to earn some money to continue his studies and live. And he never forgets that he didn't even have enough money to buy a book and a pen for studying at first. After class, he always picked up some paper or broken pens from the ground that some students tore and threw away. He took them to write English words and learn how to make sentences. He told himself, "If I don’t have high knowledge, I will live in this hard situation forever." Most of the time, his teachers blamed him for not purchasing books. All his teachers didn’t know how hard his situation was. And Piseth couldn't say anything because some days he didn't even have food to eat, and when he was hungry, he mostly drank water from the sink.

And because he has overcome a lot of obstacles, especially he was hard to find books to read during his university life, so he committed to become a writer. And finally, he met his goal. He has written more than ten books so far. And he also created one of the best reading apps on earth, so that all readers in the world can read many books through it. The name of the app is WHY READ. There are plenty of free documents for readers to read and research everywhere and whenever they wish.
