You may have a question when you first see this sentence. Why do I need to have a daily written plan? Yes, there are essential reasons.
You often say to yourself, "My brain is good enough to manage the things
that I should do daily, so I don’t need to worry about writing them down."
Yes, I also agree with you because I have always done that before. Anyway, I
completely change now because I figure out it’s better to write some important
things down. Our brain has more crucial obligations to fulfill than just
remembering to put things in order like that. It can do a lot of things that
you never ever wish for.
I highly recommend you had better write at least three important things that
you prefer them to be done in your single day. And be sure to write the most
essential three ones, the others are the last responsibilities. I will tell you
about the benefits of doing this regularly, but before I let you know, I just
want to guide you through my first experience with this amazing habit.
One day, I woke up in the early
morning and spent 5 minutes to think about my yesterday activities. I found out
everything was pretty messy. None of the important and urgent things were done.
Meanwhile, my brain jumped up with an idea from my father's words, "Always
plan ahead, my dear son, if you wish for a better result." Thus, I
immediately picked up a pen and my notebook and started writing three main
important things that needed to be done on that day.
As
I remember, it was on Saturday and I was free from work. My three things that I
wrote are listed below:
1. Finish reading a 150-page book.
2. Write 10 pages about my new book.
3. Bring my books to sell at least in
three different book centers
Actually,
these plans were achievable and I got even more than this.
I
finished reading a book.
I
wrote around 15 pages.
And
I sold my books to four bookstores.
And
I had done a lot of other little things besides these three important goals.
Since then, I have really appreciated the plans I made, and my life seems to be
active and energized daily, monthly, and even yearly.
You may see some benefits that I got from the exact plans I made in advance.
And you know I did not only get the effective result on that day, but until
now. It is because I always plan ahead. So, now let's see the details about the
benefits of making the daily plan ahead.
1.
Saving your time:
You will sometimes get lost on the things you are going to do one after
another. If that case happens, you may spend your valuable time to rethink or
sometimes it can be forgotten as well. Thus, planning ahead is a better way to
save time because it can alert you automatically.
2.
Clear goals make you creative:
Your well-organized goal gives you enough time to think about effective plans
in order to reach it. Whenever you have goals, you will always plan ahead.
Moreover, you can have more time to consider what you should do to reach those
goals. As my written plans that I made for my beginning day of starting this
habit indicated, I already knew the direction of what I should do and where I
should go. Furthermore, I was able to think creatively to make those three goals
reachable. So, how creativity did I make? As I told you, your goals might be a
bit different from mine or even more, so creativity also depends on what you do
as well. You may figure out your real creativity that fits with your duties
after you finish reading this book.
3.
You may have an emotional pusher: When
you design your goals that fit into your real ability or a bit higher in the
written words, it could push you automatically to be active on what you manage
to do. Normally, if you just think in mind you will do this or do that, you may
miss to do it, sometimes. In other words, your laziness can be your controller
as well. Frankly, before I knew the power of planning ahead, I just did
something messy. Everything went disorder due to the unclear goals. It caused
my results badly. Until I found a way to make three clear goals daily, my life
seemed to be better, and I always appreciated my daily achievements. Moreover,
I am able to manage my tasks nicely, and I can even be a manageer of my
time. Another thing, you can lie other people, but you cannot lie yourself. So,
the written plans will push you personally to reach all those goals.
To sum up, setting a clear daily goal is an effective way to test your own
ability as well as your responsibility. I am here to alert you that success
comes from a well-organized plan.
A daily plan is a priority thing that I consider for my early morning of the day. The important thing is that not only I, but also all self-made millionaires, do that. So, you’d better practice it too if you wish for a better life. You will get as what I achieve from this habit if you are about to do that as me.
Noted:
Make sure that all successful people (self-made millionaires and billionaires)
always have their daily, monthly, and yearly plans in order to reach their big
goals. I am waiting to see you develop this valuable habit, and we may become
self-made millionaires together.
