My Father Told Me

My father told me, “I am so poor. I’ll not let you be as poor as me, my dear son.” He always encourages me to study hard.

            He said, “only you have high education, you’ll be able to make yourself rich.” He further added, “Don’t be lazy to study. Yes, it’s not easy while you’re trying, but the result is very sweet. I don’t have a large amount of money to give you, but I can try my best to earn a little money to help support your study. Only you can make our family shine. Believe yourself, my beloved son.”

            Every word he told me really touches my heart. I never forgot that. I always keep trying, especially in my study. Even though it was pretty hard at my starting point, I can see the value of studying.

            I CAN BE WHAT I AM TODAY BECAUSE I ALWAYS KEEP LEARNING!

            If I quit school, you would never be able to handle this book.

            Keep studying! Don’t quit, even if you are in the most difficult situation. You can be hard for awhile, but if you quit, you may be hard forever. Only knowledge can bring you the best life.
